This report examines remuneration in both parent companies and divisions and subsidiaries with revenues up to £100m. It draws on data from annual reports and Monks surveys to provide base salary and total earnings guidelines, pay trends and information on incentive and benefit practice.
Sections of the report are devoted to posts in parent companies and divisions and subsidiaries. Analysis of pay data is provided for five levels of post:
For each of the five job levels, base salary and total earnings are analysed by four revenue bands, broad industry classification, scope factor and industry sector.
The scope factor takes account of the fact that some jobs are bigger and some smaller than the norm. In this section of the report all findings are presented by inter-quartile analysis.
